Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Burlington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Our Armed Patrol Officers in a healthcare location monitor and patrol assigned areas, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents while supporting patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in clear reports and communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
- Possess a law enforcement officer license.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
