Within CO&I, the Global Project Controls (GPC) team is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business. The MS portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Program Evaluation and Improvement: Conduct cost-benefit analyses to examine performance to value drivers (e.g., P&L, ROI); contribute to monthly business reviews and run rhythms regularly to identify what is and is not working and make improvements; collect and evaluate success criteria and performance metrics (OKRs/KPIs) and use scorecards and dashboards to monitor complex programs and identify risks, mitigation plans, and optimization opportunities.Business Program Excellence and Execution: Evangelize complex programs to stakeholders, partners, and customers; leverage data and performance metrics to demonstrate program value and business impact; define and execute landing and communication plans and lead the rhythm of business across teams (Design, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Technical Program Management).Business Program Management: Contribute to or lead a portfolio of projects including the project plan, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics, and resource needs; communicate program status and risk and hold stakeholders accountable to schedule, risk mitigation plans, and processes.Business Program Planning and Design: Define and track success criteria and performance metrics; design compliant complex programs with cross-functional stakeholders; identify and scope opportunities to develop new programs and improve existing ones; perform program landscape research, forecasting, and trend analysis.• Embody our Culture and Values.QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.Other RequirementsMicrosoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
