We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity. Skills and Competencies•5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering impactful, multi-team technical projects•Proficiency in Java and C#/.Net programming languages•Experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server), Columnar data storage and NoSQL data stores•Expertise in developing production-grade RESTful APIs and microservices•Familiarity with cloud-native applications using Docker & Kubernetes, as well as on-premise solutions.•Expertise in Front End technologies like React, Angular and Vue.js along with TypeScript & JavaScript/CSS.*Awareness about meta-frameworks like Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Nuxt.js•Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis•Solid grasp of software design principles and writing well-tested, high-quality code•Knowledge and experience of multi-threading, memory management, and query processing•Ability to design solutions with application scalability, availability, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness in mind•Resilience and adaptability in navigating organizational and technical change•Deep knowledge of testing strategies and system health maintenance for complex systems.Education•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline—or equivalent professional experienceResponsibilities•Develop, deliver and maintain backend services and public APIs•Implement product features by following all phases of software development lifecycle•Be part of large-scale, high-stakes projects while managing complexity and ambiguity•Work across teams to prioritize customer-centric outcomes•Exercise sound technical judgment in designing features•Demonstrate collaboration, innovation, and Moody’s core values•Lead change management initiatives and embrace ambiguity to drive innovation•Create and implement solutions that balance short-term needs with long-term organizational goals•Engage in both technical and non-technical decision-making, achieving consensus across diverse viewpoints•Anticipate and address technical challenges while proactively managing risks•Develop and communicate clear...
