Key Responsibilities:
As an Analyst for Risk, you will support the team in ensuring effective risk management and oversight of impact investments managed by the Luxembourg branch AIFM. Your responsibilities will include assisting with risk-related tasks as outlined below. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Officer and the Conducting Officer for Risk to carry out day-to-day risk management activities. The risk activities include but not limited to:
- Assist in the productions of risk reports for Senior Management, auditors and regulators
- Support processes related to the Risk-based review of new investment proposals
- Familiarize with applicable regulations and CSSF circulars relevant to the AIFM’s risk operations
- Maintain the Operational Risk Database
- Interface with local Valuation, Portfolio Management and Compliance functions as well as staff in the wider FiM Group
What we expect:
- University degree in a relevant field (preferably in economics, finance, law, STEM or business administration)
- Prior professional experience would be a plus, preferably in the Luxembourg Fund Industry and in risk management, asset management, fund administration, audit of funds or within a law firm
- Experience in and passion for process automation would be an asset, the same applies to coding skills in Python and/or R and/or vibe coding.
- Demonstrable commitment to Finance in Motion’s mission to do good for people and planet
- Dynamic, authentic, credible team player with entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to cooperate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural context
- Excellent communication skills in English
