Your role and responsibilities As an IBM intern, you will work with the latest technologies and collaborate with team members to create real impact for our customers and the rest of the world. During your internship you will have the opportunity to:Work alongside a global community of over 6,000 IBM interns and meet other IBM employees during networking events, special events, team building and professional development activities.Increase your skills through a combination of educational platforms and professional guidance from your manager, coach and mentor to get everything you need to shape the beginning of your career.Learn about a client's industry, meet new challenges, and learn how their business and technology intersect.Participate in a real project or initiative and experience first hand how we help transform our clients' business.  Required education High School Diploma/GED Required technical and professional expertise * BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering * Exposure to programming language such as C/C++/Python * Knowledge of Linux distributions  * Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. * Collaborative skills and ability to work in fast-paced agile environments. * Quick learner with business acumen.* Intermediate to advanced English (B2)     Preferred technical and professional experience * Knowledge of computer architecture and distributed systems.   ABOUT BUSINESS UNIT IBM Systems helps IT leaders think differently about their infrastructure.
