We are looking for an Aftermarket Demand Planner to join our team at our Aerostructures headquarters in Chula Vista, CA who has experience in Materials Management, Demand Planning and Strategic Analysis. You will manage demand planning strategies across various product lines and support the team with strategic reporting & analysis tasks.
This position works in a primarily onsite capacity.
What You Will Do
Manage planning strategies and ERP requirements across various aftermarket product lines to achieve 96% on-time delivery to customer request date
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure inventory and service level targets are met
Develop and implement technologies, processes, and tools for inventory management, demand planning, and business process automation
Optimize part segmentation to ensure make-to-stock strategy aligns with inventory and service level objectives
Develop effective forecast models based on demand patterns, product lifecycle knowledge, and available market intelligence
Extract and analyze datasets to generate reports that support analytical needs of the organization to drive strategic decisions
Possess ability to display complex data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner
Communicate effectively with other Aftermarket or OE stakeholders
Provide recommendations on how to utilize available planning and demand data for inventory optimization
Development of data visualizations using PowerBI, Tableau or other similar tools
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
ERP experience
Experience with Continuous Improvement tools and concepts
Experience with materials management concepts and processes
Experience with demand planning, service level and inventory optimization with intermittent historical demand
Experience with cost/benefit and return on invested capital financial analyses
Able to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally (when circumstances permit)
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with SAP, SAP IBP, or other ERP/planning systems
Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
Experience with PowerBI (usage and development of reports)
Experience with Business Warehouse, IBP, Bex, Webi
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, ACE, or CORE
Experience with SIOP (or S&OP) concepts and processes
Experience with Planning and/or Master Scheduling in a manufacturing environment
Experience with statistical forecasting and forecast accuracy measurement
Experience with developing and enhancing reporting via various database tools such as Access, SQL, WEBI, SAP BW
Experience with assembling reports based on quantitative data analysis and presenting results to senior leadership

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
