Amazon's Global AI & Analytics (GSARC) Strategy team is seeking an experienced Sr PM, to own the ramp-up of critical strategic projects and AI automation. In this role, you will design and model operations solutions, drive strategic initiatives to build and optimize Amazon's fulfillment network, and build AI solutions to support AI Native Operations.
You will leverage your expertise to influence, innovate, and deliver tactical and strategic solutions that solve complex challenges in WW Operations. Operating with significant autonomy, you will identify stakeholder needs, develop business strategies, and implement end-to-end supply chain solutions. This includes representing work independently, developing new organizational processes, and driving organizational agility to meet both short and long-term goals for speed, cost, and profitability.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the business cadence and governance (daily/weekly/monthly business reviews) for area of responsibility
- Deliver action plans for general managers, directors, and VPs, while being a trusted partner to these network leaders
- Own annual planning and other adhoc planning cycles for business area
- Execute and drive internal team program/project delivery, execution, and adoption across multiple organizations and teams
- Measure and report effectiveness of developed solutions
- Collaborate with project stakeholders in multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver on agreed upon milestones and implement AI solutions
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make tradeoffs
- Navigate competing priorities and optimize for the best solution while creating the business development plan
- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
- Communicate project progress and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner
- Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas, and opportunities to further develop innovative solutions
- Own goals/performance reporting
This role will include travel 20-25%.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience leading process improvements

Basic qualifications
- Experience in program or project management- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field- Experience leading process improvements
