Operations Analyst 

Labcorp is seeking a hybrid Operations Analyst to join our team one day a week at 531 S Spring Street, Burlington NC, two days a week in 10 Moore Drive, Durham NC, and two days working remotely, supporting both collaboration and flexibility 

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm EST  

Responsibilities:  

  • Responsible for data management from various source systems, data analytics and reporting for the core business processes relative to Diagnostics operational metrics, Key Performance Indicators and dashboards. Work with cross-functional teams to elicit business requirements and develop dashboards. 

  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data source files. 

  • Transform datasets and quantitative analysis into compelling visuals. 

  • Monitor and analyze operational data for trends, patterns and meaningful insightsIdentify and communicate operational improvement opportunities. 

  • Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct problems. 

  • Deliver timely, accurate and informative analyses and reports to business partners in Operations. 

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and standard reports. 

  • Manage multiple requests and priorities -- exercising judgment and seeing beyond the day-to-day to anticipate changing needs. 

  • Implement process improvements to reduce manual efforts and delivery quality results in all reporting deliverables. 

  • Drive the evolution of solutions and ensure they meet requirements. 

  • Ad-hoc reporting as required. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Minimum qualifications:  

  • Bachelors degree

  • 3 years of relevant experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience with Alteryx software/building data workflows, Tableau or similar software for data visuals

Additional Job standards:  

  • Proficiency with Microsoft office tools including Excel,

  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels of organization, solid presentation skills. 

The Operational Analytics and Optimization Project Analyst is responsible for supporting and delivering business intelligence to leaders and other stakeholders within the Labcorp Diagnostics Operations organization. The Project Analyst will utilize Alteryx, Tableau, and other analytical tools to streamline and automate (when possible) data management, data analysis and data visualization. Ultimately, the Project Analyst is tasked with ensuring that business leaders are provided with a balanced view of actionable insights into the health of the Diagnostics operations supply chain.
