Environmental Service I
Per Diem
Day Shift
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff in alignment with St. Peter’s Health Partners’ mission.
Responsibilities
Daily
- Dusting of furniture and built in shelving and all three floors
- Vacuum common area carpets all three floors
- Clean common area bathrooms on all three floors (toilet, sink, floors)
- Hudson lounge – wipes tables, refresh coffee station, clean sink, and counter tops, empty trash can in lounge and lobby
- Wellness center, vacuum, empty trash can and shredder and wipe down equipment
- Household garbage from trash room on all three floors taken to dumpsters twice daily
- Vacuum Clubhouse, wipe tables, clean kitchen area and bathroom and empty garbage in kitchen and two exterior trash cans
- Clean laundry room on all three floors
- Clean Beechwood and Clubhouse door entry windows as needed
Weekly
- Three stairwells sweep and mop
- Handrail cleaning on all three levels
- Resident apartment cleaning
As indicated
- Guest suite cleaning and wash bedding and towels
- Spot carpet cleaning in common areas and resident apartments as indicated
- Refill water dispensers with 5-gallon water jugs and cups and needed
Qualifications
Basic cleaning knowledge
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Per Diem Flat Rate: $17.00
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
