We proudly deliver our expert services through the SGS name and a portfolio of trusted specialized brands, including Applied Technical Services, Brightsight, Bluesign and Nutrasource.Job DescriptionStatutory & Tax Reporting: Independently preparing financial statements (Local GAAP/IFRS) and overseeing the accurate calculation and filing of VAT and CIT returns.Period Closings: Coordinating month-end and year-end closing processes within the Record-to-Report (R2R) area, including reconciling tax accounts with the general ledger and verifying international transactions.Audit & Internal Control: Acting as the main point of contact ("Champion") for internal and external auditors, managing non-compliance risks, and implementing Minimum Control Standards (MCS) across GBS.Optimization & Automation: Identifying process inefficiencies and driving digital enhancements, including report automation using Power BI/Tableau and advanced ERP systems (Oracle/SAP).Business Partnership & Transformation: Participating in finance transformation initiatives (such as process migrations to the GBS center) and establishing robust internal control standards with affiliates.Subject Matter Expertise: Serving as a technical expert within the team to resolve complex accounting/tax issues and facilitating internal control training sessions.QualificationsProfessional Experience: 4–6+ years of experience in accounting and taxes, including at least 2–3 years of autonomous work in statutory reporting, VAT, and CIT.Education & Professional Knowledge: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, combined with strong knowledge of accounting legislation (Local GAAP) and IFRS standards.Language Skills: Fluent English (C1/C2 level) enabling seamless delivery of presentations, business discussions, and formal management analysis.Technical Proficiency: Expert-level MS Excel skills (financial modeling, risk assessment) and hands-on experience navigating the financial modules of major ERP systems like SAP (including S/4HANA) or Oracle.Mobility: Willingness to travel for business up to approximately 15%.Stakeholder Management: Highly developed communication skills with the ability to build trust and engage in assertive business discussions with executive leadership.Analytical Skills & Matrix Mindset: Strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively within a global matrix organization.Drive & Resilience: A proactive approach with an optimization mindset and the capability to perform under pressure, especially during tight closing deadlines.Additional InformationStable employment based on a contract of employment (umowa o pracę) with fixed business hours, Mon-Fri (08:00/09:00 – 16:00/17:00), in a rapidly growing SSC sector companyA fast and secure remote recruitment process, including the possibility of signing a preliminary agreement to secure your future employmentComprehensive onboarding tailored to your individual pace, with ongoing support from a Team LeaderHybrid work modelSupport in developing your individual career pathExtensive benefits package: private medical care (Medicover), group insurance, access to the Medicover Benefits platform, co-financing...
