Supports the operating groups, identifying opportunities for process improvements, revenue enhancements, cost containments, and business and market share growth. Works in conjunction with Accounting, Reimbursement, Budget, Cost Accounting, Revenue Integrity, and Decision Support areas. Analyzes data from multiple sources and inputs using Excel, Access, SQL, and other technology to create meaningful information to be used by leadership for informed decision making.What you will doCompletes proformas, financial analysis, monthly cash and allowance forecasts, long range planning, and assists with budgeting.Performs monthly analytical assessments of assigned geographical locations and creates progress reports for management.Performs data mining of department data structures to determine themes, uncover trends in financial performance, and identify root cause areas of improvement for the regional governance committees.Remains current with trending topics in Healthcare Finance and Healthcare Reform.
