Financial Services Specialist
Mission:
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions for service business of all Asia countries (Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia mainly Singapore & Malaysia)
- Provides financial information to management and Asia business stakeholders by researching, analyzing accounting data, and preparing reports
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for revenue recognition of service contracts, service order review/approval, SOx control, managerial P&L analysis and process improvement for customers in Asia
- Record transactions, compile and analyze data, and report their findings to management and business stakeholders for service business of customers in Asia. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of recording, verifying and entering transactions during month end closing
- Drive compliance and perform internal control activities
- Maintain and control related balance sheets
- Analyze data and trend against forecast and share the insight with relevant parties
- Collaborate with various stakeholders such as service planning, service business manager, controllers, Legal, Tax team and order management desk
- Require daily communication with global teams in Asia and Netherland (verbal and written)
- Proactively seek for continuous improvements in the execution of activities, improving efficiency and quality
Experience:
- 3-5 years Accounting / Finance or equivalent experiences
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above (preferred Accounting, Business administration or relevant major)
- Accounting certificate is plus (e.g. AICPA)
Personal Skills:
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Korean
- Good teamwork (Collaboration and Care)
- Knowledge on US & Korea GAAP & IFRS
- SAP Experience is a big plus
- Competent user of MS office programs (Excel, PowerPoint)
