Project Role Description : Facilitates Agile Release Train events and processes, including communicating with stakeholders, escalating progress impediments, managing risk, and driving improvement. Works with Product/Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution alignment.

As a Scrum Master, a typical day involves enabling the smooth operation of a Scrum team by fostering an environment that supports Agile principles and Scrum practices. The role includes facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, promoting collaboration among team members and stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to the Scrum framework. The Scrum Master works closely with the Product Owner and development team to drive continuous improvement, enhance team agility, and ensure successful delivery of business outcomes. The role also involves tracking team performance through Scrum metrics and Agile artifacts while fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.

Roles & Responsibilities
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
Guide the Scrum Team and Product Owner in understanding and adopting Scrum principles, values, and practices.
Remove external blockers and help resolve internal process-related impediments to maximize team productivity.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and Agile best practices within the team.
Facilitate open, transparent, and effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
Monitor and report team progress using Agile metrics such as Burndown Charts, Velocity, Sprint Goals, and other Scrum artifacts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on dependencies, deliverables, and project goals.
Coach and mentor team members to improve Agile maturity and foster professional growth.
Support the organization's Agile transformation initiatives and encourage innovation in team processes and workflows.

Professional & Technical Skills
Must Have Skills
Proficiency in Agile Project Management.
Strong expertise in Scrum framework and Agile methodologies.
Hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe.
Experience working closely with Product Owners to manage and refine Product Backlogs.
Ability to identify, track, and remove team impediments and blockers.
Expertise in leveraging Scrum artifacts such as Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Burndown Charts, and Velocity Reports.
Proficiency in Agile project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or equivalent.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to assess team performance and drive continuous process improvements.
Good to Have Skills
Experience working in large-scale Agile environments and distributed teams.
Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and Agile delivery models.
Experience supporting Agile transformations and coaching teams toward higher Agile maturity.

Additional Information
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in Agile Project Management.
Experience working with a single Scrum Team (Squad) and supporting Agile delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full-time education is required.
