The Opportunity

Come join the Adobe Cloud Platform & Collaboration (ACPC) experiences engineering team, one of the most dynamic, fun, and agile teams at Adobe! You'll help build our next-gen cloud services and web components that power asset management and collaboration across Adobe's apps. You'll be contributing to Adobe's vision for building a delightful experience when customers create content using Adobe products. 

We work in full-stack squads collaborating with teams around the world, while staying close to our users' workflows, so we build the right thing. 

What you'll Do

  • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Platform teams to ensure strong UI/UX alignment and high-quality user experiences. 
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and emerging GraphQL endpoints into resilient, intuitive front-end applications. 
  • Create and drive technical proposals and own full cycle implementation from concept to production. 
  • Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers to help define and refine API contracts that support real-time and high-scale automated technology use cases. 
  • Drive scoping, implementation planning and deliver clean, maintainable, well-documented code using emerging AI frameworks
  • Implement robust testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. 
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to evolving backend and frontend standards and guidelines. 
  • Support a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and engineering excellence.

What you need to succeed

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including production experience with Javascript/Typescript, Node or Java services
  • Depth in at least one UI framework area, such as layout, rendering, theming, or performance 
  • A track record of solving complex technical problems while keeping software fast, reliable, and maintainable 
  • Design sensibility, strong communication skills, and experience developing alignment across design and engineering teams 
  • Curiosity and experience using AI-assisted development tools
  • Strong systems-design experience, including framework or platform architecture

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $139,000 -- $257,550 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

 



In California, the pay range for this position is $177,900 - $257,550


At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
